36 Weeks

Hello baby boy,

I'm a little late on this week!  You are still gaining about an ounce per day. You weigh maybe around 6 pounds and are more than 18.5 inches long (size of a head of romaine lettuce). That is getting to be pretty big! WE are getting to be pretty big! I'm feeling really good about my body, but I continue to be surprised every time I see myself sideways in a mirror. We seriously have a pretty wide radius... ;)

You are now shedding most of the downy hair covering your body as well as the vernix caseosa. I wonder how much you will have left by the time you're born...if you'll be covered in vernix or just have a little bit.

I went to my first Sounders game for this season over the weekend with your daddy and uncle. I just hadn't been able to make it to one yet! Maybe one of these days you will enjoy going with your daddy...
