19 Weeks

My sweet child...

This week your sensory development is leaping forward!  Your brain is developing your sense of smell, taste, hearing, vision, and touch.  Some research suggests you can now hear our voices, so I've tried to sing some extra this week. :)

You weigh around 8 1/2 ounces and measure 6 inches head to bottom, about the size of an heirloom tomato.  I love tomatoes! 


I'm starting to feel a bit off balance at times, like going up stairs. Lots more weight in the front end than I'm used to, though I can only imagine what it will be like a few months from now... When coming home from vacation, we had two flights.  Both times we descended, I think I felt you moving around. It's not completely obvious that it is you, but those are the same flutters I've started to feel in the last couple of weeks, so I just decided that it is you.  Which is pretty amazing.  :)

This week has been pretty awful at work and I've been really stressed out...sorry about that. Trying to work on calming down and relaxing.  I don't want you to be stressed little one.

Soon we get to find out if you will be our little prince or princess! We are SO excited to find out and family and friends are anxiously awaiting the news as well.
